Connect your AI to sitectrl
Add sitectrl to the AI you already use, and ask it to build you a website. It goes live at a real web address in a few minutes. You don't need a sitectrl account first: the sign-in that opens during setup creates one. The free plan is one hosted site, no card.
The one address every app asks for
https://mcp.sitectrl.ai/mcpClaude (web, desktop and phone)
- Open Claude on the web at claude.ai, or in the desktop app. Go to Customize → Connectors.
- Click Add custom connector and paste the address above. Leave the sign-in settings as they are.
- Click Add, then Connect. A sitectrl sign-in opens. Use Google or make an account there, and approve.
- In a chat, press + → Connectors and make sure sitectrl is on. Then ask: “Build me a website for my bakery.”
On your phone: add the connector on the web or desktop first. Claude says connectors from the web are available in its iOS and Android apps, but that adding them on mobile is still in beta, so don't start there.
On a Team or Enterprise plan, an Owner adds it under Organization settings → Connectors, then each member clicks Connect. The Free plan allows one custom connector.

ChatGPT
- In ChatGPT on the web, open chatgpt.com/plugins, press the plus button and choose Add custom MCP server.
- Give it a name (“sitectrl”) and a short description.
- Under Connection choose Public endpoint and paste the address above, including /mcp.
- For authentication choose OAuth, accept the warning that this is an unverified connector, and create it. A sitectrl sign-in opens. Approve it.
Which plans can add a custom server, and what the menus are called, is set by OpenAI and has changed more than once. On a work plan an admin may need to switch on developer mode first. If you don't see the option, the OpenAI pages below are the current word.

Gemini
- Open gemini.google.com in a browser. Go to Settings → Connected Apps.
- Under Custom apps choose Add a custom app, paste the address above and continue.
- Approve the connection in the browser window that opens (the sitectrl sign-in).
Google says this can only be done on the Gemini website, and for now only in English, for people 18 or over in the US with Gemini Apps Activity turned on. Once added it also shows up in the Gemini phone app.
Gemini CLI (a command-line tool, for developers). Run this once, then type /mcp auth sitectrl inside Gemini CLI to sign in:
gemini mcp add --transport http sitectrl https://mcp.sitectrl.ai/mcpSource: Gemini Apps Help: connect and manage custom apps

Cursor
One click, if Cursor is installed on this computer:
Cursor asks you to confirm, then opens the sitectrl sign-in. If the button does nothing (some Linux installs don't register the link), put this in ~/.cursor/mcp.json for every project, or .cursor/mcp.json for one:
{
"mcpServers": {
"sitectrl": {
"url": "https://mcp.sitectrl.ai/mcp"
}
}
}Source: Cursor: MCP install links

Claude Code (terminal)
Run this in your terminal:
claude mcp add sitectrl --transport http https://mcp.sitectrl.ai/mcpThen run /mcp inside Claude Code and choose sitectrl to sign in.

Then try saying
“Build me a website for my dog-grooming business in Austin. Friendly, warm colors, with a booking section and example prices.”
The connector can never spend your money: anything paid, like a domain, comes back as a link you complete yourself. What it can do, and how your data is handled, is on the MCP page. Prefer the editor? Use your own AI inside sitectrl.
